Speakers on the LG Gram Style 16 (16Z90RS)
The internal speakers are silent under Linux because the kernel quirk table lacks the codec subsystem ID
1854:0492.lgctlnow replays the kernel's own amplifier sequence (ALC298_FIXUP_LG_GRAM_STYLE_14) from userspace:lgctl speakers(status),sudo lgctl speakers apply, lgctl speakers start(through systemd, polkit rule forwheel)lgctl-speakers.serviceruns it at boot and after resume; the RPM enables it on a 16Z90RS- only the two amplifiers the 16-inch has (
0x38,0x39) by default,--amps allfor the 14-inch layout
Tray icon
lgctl-gui --traystarts in the system tray (StatusNotifierItem: COSMIC, KDE, GNOME with extension); closing the window hides it there- menu: power profile, fan mode, speaker fix status and "Apply", open, quit
- "Startup" card: start at login, tray-only or with the window (
~/.config/autostart/lgctl-tray.desktop)
Also
- cards scroll in short windows, version footer, About dialog,
lgctl version make install-system, RPM with%checkand systemd scriptlets
Install:
sudo dnf install ./lgctl-0.3.0-1.fc44.x86_64.rpm. If you had amake install-usercopy under~/.local/bin, remove it: it would shadow/usr/bin.Downloads
